EventOn RSVP Points Addon GPL is an extension for the EventOn RSVP Addon that allows you to create a digital points-based value system for your events. Instead of directly purchasing tickets for each event, users can buy, receive, or earn points and later redeem them to RSVP to events of their choice. This flexible system helps increase engagement, encourage repeat participation, and boost event registrations.
With RSVP Points, you can define a price per point and turn points into your website’s internal currency. Users can purchase points through WooCommerce and store them in their accounts for future event RSVPs. You can also create unlimited point bundles and add bonus points as promotional offers — for example, “Buy 5 points and get 1 free.” This helps drive more sales and makes your offers more attractive.
The addon allows you to place a “Buy Points” or “Gift Points” button anywhere on your site using a shortcode. You can restrict certain events so that RSVPing is only possible through points, ensuring users must purchase or use existing points to confirm attendance. This works perfectly for exclusive events or membership-based systems.
One of the most powerful features is the ability to gift points to others. Users can purchase gift points for friends, who can then redeem those points and RSVP to events. Administrators can also manually grant points to users or automate point rewards through WordPress action hooks — for example, rewarding users when they leave a review or complete a specific action.
Users can track their points balance, purchased bundles, and RSVP activities directly from the WooCommerce My Account dashboard. Administrators can view complete point activity details within the WordPress admin user profile section, making management simple and transparent.
EventOn RSVP Points Addon GPL is ideal for membership sites, exclusive event communities, loyalty-based platforms, and businesses looking to gamify event participation while increasing revenue and user engagement.
